Club Championships: Rules and Regulations: Nascar 500
As part of the club championships we will hold annual Nascar 500 (AKA the Stafford 500). The Nascars we use are a Mini-Z MF-010 (Formula 1) with Nascar conversion kits that are available from Mini-Nascar. We completely understand that building your own Nascar may be expensive for newcomers and therefore, a limited supply of spare cars are available on the day.
Nascar Regulations
Each racers Nascar must meet the following standards:
- It must be a Mini-Z MF-010 (Formula 1) with the Mini-Nascar conversion kit.
- It must run on 4 x AAA batteries
- It must use official Mini-Z electronics, servo and receiver
Race Format
This race takes place three-tile-wide oval track with one banked corner. There are a total of 500 laps to be completed and the race ends when the first person completes their 500th lap. Every other racer then finishes in the position they were in when the race ended.
