Club Championships: Rules and Regulations: Caravan Races
As part of the club championships we will hold annual caravan races. You are expected to build your own caravan for these races; please talk to some of the club members or ask on our official forum for information on how to go about building your own caravan.
Caravan Regulations
Each racers caravan must meet the following standards:
- It must look like a non-collapsible caravan.
- It may only have two wheels.
- Said wheels may not protrude past the outer walls of the caravan by more than 5mm each side.
- It must be to scale (or very close) with the towing car.
- It must attach to the back of a Mini-Z MR02, MA010, MR01 or MR015.
- Your caravan must finish the race with the car.
- Your caravan may not be metal or die cast.
- You must have built your caravan; it cannot be a pre-built toy or model.
Race Format
For the caravan races the race format remains the same as a regular heat. However, ramming is not discouraged; therefore racers should not take the building and racing of their caravans too seriously, albeit for the club championships.
